Noah's Ark teaches children how to respect authority. They teach respect for each other and how to help each other. The leader and employees at Noah's Ark model the characteristics of respect, integrity, accountability and confidence.
First of all all the teachers are there because they love children and teaching. Secondly they have a vested interest in seeing all the children succeed not only in school but in life itself. Last but not least all the teachers love and know Jesus. They all pray over those children and the families that come to Noah's Ark.
Noah's Ark at an early age in the life of the children they teach establishes how to follow direction. Which is very important while in a classroom setting. They also teach very good study habits and encouragement in every mode and mean of learning in a child's life. The after school care children are taught to sit and do their homework first and tutors are available for those students needing extra help.
During the time my daughter was enrolled, there were several special needs children enrolled. These children where treated no differently then the other students. Lessons and learning modules were tailored to their specific needs. These children flourished at Noah's Ark.
Gram, is amazing. As the founder and leader of this great school, she is a phenomenal woman. I love her. My daughter Jasmin was one of the first students at Noah's Ark. Gram taught her to read, write and do simple math at the age of three. She is now 13 years old and has been on honor roll her entire academic career. My daughter still knows the bible verses and sing the praise songs she was taught by Gram at Noah's Ark. All her employees are Christ filled and dedicated to teaching God's principles in every aspect of education, to all children no matter their color, ethnicity or learning level. They are amazing. I highly recommend this school whether you have a struggling student or just a kid who needs some foundational principles in character no matter their age.
Gram, Lisa and crew - I love y'all and miss you all God Bless and don't ever stop doing what you are doing!!!!
I do not know what the person is talking about in the previous review but I am sure there is some falseness to this claim. It is probably some person who is angry at the director. This is an excellent learning facility and helps children with learning disabilities as well. My child goes to this daycare during the summer when he stays with his grandparents. Miss Linda has taken time to help to teach my son who has Aspergers and I am very pleased at the job that her and her staff do. She is a wonderful member of the community. I commend Miss Linda for her great work with children in the CENLA area. Please consider this day care center for your child it is a very christian and warm environment. The director has always returned my phone calls and even called me to update me on my child's progress. She is a very professional lady.
This school director is very unprofessional she hangs up in parents faces dont return phone calls, they accept kids without proper documentation. I am a very unhappy parent I would not advise no parent to bring there kid here
