This past year our three grandchildren, 11, 9, and 5 were enrolled at Mount Olive Christian School in Athens, LA. We have been extremely pleased with the curriculum and the Chirstian values which are a part of every school day. This school reminds me of what education used to be 50 years ago (safe, secure and with small class sizes), but with a sophisicated focus on current and future educational requirements. More schools should approach the education of our children with the same traditional values and desire to provide the highest possible level of education for each individual student as seen at MOCS. We believe this is the approach to education we need for the leaders of tomorrow. We give Mount Olive Christian School '5 stars' and very proud to do so.

This school has a very friendly atmosphere, top-notch curriculum, committed faculty, and a Christian focus. Mount Olive has a Mayberry feel, but does a good job of preparing their students for today's world. Their facilities could use some updating, and they are in the process of reviving some of their athletic programs. Science is one of their stronger points, and they regularly take several places at science fairs.
