I have never seen a school put more priorty on cheerleading then on acadamics. My daughter is in the fourth grade and instead of giving them a good foundation to grow on they are teaching the leap and ohio test. Not teaching them how to use math formulas but to memorize math. Such as Mutiplication tables. I have to say that if a child is not required to show his or her work in math then how are the teachers going to know where they need help.

I absolutely love this school. The programs they have for the students are awesome. I wouldn't choose any other elementary school for my kids.

We moved here recently from out of town. At first we were nervous about uniforms and all since our old school did not have them. My kids fit right in the first day. Which to any parent is a great feeling! My kids have been going there now for a little over a month and they love it to pieces! The staff is the nicest ever and I am so glad my kids are a part of Tioga Elementary!!!

My daughter has gone to Tioga Elem. (TES) since Kindergarten and is now in the 6th grade. The educational curriculum is great, and they offer multiple extracurricular activities, such as cheerleading, basketball, choir, 4-H, BETA and band. They have open house, school fairs and other events in the evenings that parents and children can attend that creates a sense of community within the school. Students in 4th and up participate in Social Studies and Science Fairs. As a parent, you can be as involved as you want, they really appreciate parental involvement. Each of the teachers I've interacted with seemed to want to be there and seemed fair and compassionate. Mrs. Pippen is a great principal. My daughter had a problem on the bus last year; and she took care of it ASAP.

I love this school! The staff is awesome and they always make people feel welcome in their school. I have 2 children that have been there since they were in Pre-K(now if the 4th and 2nd grade). We will be moving and I hope that I find a school that is just as welcome as this one is for Parent involvement and everything else this school does for their students. If you need anything the Staff will help in any way they can!! I give this school a 5 star!

I personally think that Tioga Elementary is an excellent school. My son attends, and he has three cousins also attending. Of all the schools around this area, Tioga is number one on my list.
