Basile High School is a great school. I am graduating this year and i've loved all my years. The person saying that you need the right last name or whatever is wrong because i'm from georgia...my last name is as far from theirs as possible and i've had the best time at this school than all the others. Thanx every1 for my great last year!

I am a student at Basile High School and participate in football, wrestling, track, and band. Those are only some things that this wonderful school offers. The teachers are the best and help in any area you need help in. I would advise anyone to enroll at Basile. I attend school the not because I have to but because I want to and I will gladley send my children there. I am a proud bearcat for life. #61 'Whatever it Takes'

I am a currently enrolled student at Basile High School. I am a junior, a football player and a track participant. I have a 3.9 GPA overall throughout high school. I have to say that anyone who can down BHS should have never set foot in the school. I am overwhelmingly proud to say that I attend this school and I vow to send my children to this school. The athletics, under the direction of Eric Parmley, is the highlight of my life right now. I excell at academics because the teachers make class interesting and enjoyable. I detest those of you who can attend a school throughout high school and still put it down. I am a true Bearcat, I say it proudly, and if ANYONE doesn't feel the same then its probably best to keep your unimportant opinions to yourself. A proud, and loyal Bearcat, Matthew Miller #67

Basile High School is the best school. I'm sorry for the person who thinks you need to have the right name to amount to anything at our school. Not only through the years has teachers, principles, coaches, etc.supported the students they have always stood behind them (us)in need. I believe in our school and send my children to Basile High School. I've also been taught that no matter what your name is you matter and are cared for.Maybe the person who feels like you do needs to look at themselves and stop putting the blame on the school. Basile High School is Great! Go Bearcats! A BIG,BIG,FAN

All I have to say is that Basile High pushed me as far as I could go when I didn't want to try. They made sure I knew that if I didn't finish school I would be a nobody. They strived to see me succeed, not just as one of their football players, but ALL students were pushed to study and do good. Whoever wrote that negative review, you must have been a loser, and didn't affiliate yourself with anything. Good luck at your Wal-Mart greeter job! I hope your kids don't end up like you. Parents, send those children to Basile, and by god, they will be loved and encouraged to be the best student they can possibly be!!

Basile High is nothing more than a prejudice school who only look out for those with the right last name. My child attends this school and this review is something we both can agree upon. He has great grades but isn't appreciated. Mr. and Mrs. BHS is nothing more than a popularity contest. The only reason why I am rating this school a one is because one isn't on the scale.

BHS is the BEST! I am an alumnist of BHS, 3 of my children graduated from BHS and one is now an 8th grader. Because of it's size, I have never worried about sending my children off to school. Everyone knows everyone. The principal and faculty are so concerned and caring. (at least most of them, nothing is perfect) My oldest child is a Nurse Practioner and breezed through college because of the awesomme teachers at BHS.

I am an alumnist of B.H.S, and to tell you the truth it is probably one of the worst schools in the history of school. For the shear fact that if you are not a person with the right name you have a very hard time enjoying your highschool years. As far as education it is a mere shadow of what education should be. Basile has nothing to offer their students except the small town mentality that runs so rampant there. This school does not show their students that there is a world outside of louisiana, instead they show their students that it's okay to work at mcdonald's or wal-mart etc... This school is the least goal oriented school that I have ever seen. Well there is one goal, and that's to go 10-0 during football season. Would I recommend my child going to this school? I would rather homeschool them. Thankyou
