Eastside Elementary is not the school it used to be. The new principal is not sensitive to the needs of elementary school students. Many members of this school community have dubbed it 'Eastside Military School', due to the overly strict enforcement of dress code and attendance of both students and teachers. The level of parental involvement has dropped severely during the last year or so.
One of my daughters is four years old and attending pre-k at at this elementary school. On my way to work, in uniform, I usually take her to school and pick her up. The female kindergarten teachers there were rude and disrespectful. They have no respect for me a a mother or officer of the law. I have had several talks with the principle to no avail.
