My children have flourished at Sacred Heart. Academically, it is one of the top schools in the area. It's a small, loving environment that really focuses on the total child.

Sacred heart! I do indeed believe that sacred heart is a good school, but this 2013-2014 school years' classroom sizes had me a bit puzzled especially for a private setting. My son is in K-5 and has 26 students in his class & the teacher finds it difficult to keep him on task although he's capable of doing excellent work, she says,"she doesn't have the time." My daughter started off with a full class of 24 in the first grade, thus less individualized attention to reinforce what's being taught. There are two K-5 classes & two 1st grade classes. This is our second year there. I'm a little dismayed.

This school has been a blessing. My daughter has been at Sacred Heart for three years. (I switched her here after some terrible experiences in EBR public schools.) She has made friends easily. The staff are always warm and inviting, and they always make my family feel welcome. I love how the faculty find ways to make the curriculum appropriate yet interesting and challenging to the students. I commend their anti-bullying program and the timeliness of responses to emails and phone calls. Sacred Heart is the best kept secret in town!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
