I highly recommend this school to other parents. I am a former student and now a parent of a child at BRLS. When it was time for my child to start school, I knew BRLS would be my first choice. I am confident that my child is getting a quality education in a caring and safe environment. The principal, teachers and staff promote a warm and Christ-centered environment that emphasizes respectful communication and behavior, conflict resolution and forgiveness. The staff encourage parental involvement while also encouraging the students to take on age-appropriate responsibilities and independence. The challenging curriculum is driven by the teacher and the students, allowing more time for skills that are more difficult to master. The teachers strive to help each child succeed and truly form a partnership with parents to provide extra help as needed. Graduates are well-prepared for high school and further academic success. Overall, BRLS is a great school that becomes an extension of your family. I highly encourage you to check it out!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! Not only is the staff of the highest quality, but they are truly invested in each child and want them to succeed. You have the teachers number and are encouraged to keep open lines of communication, you dont find that very often! The quality of the education is also fantastic! These kids go on to attend some of the best high schools in this area! The principal is nothing short of amazing!! His door is always open and he will work with the parents and student to resolve any issues. The facility is nice and clean, as well as safe!!! They encourage parent participation and volunteerism, which makes getting to know your childs classmates and teachers easier! Our family attended this school for 3 years and made a switch to another school that offered more extra ciriculars. We regretted our decision after one semester at the other school and will be returning to BRLS as soon as possible! Because the school is small the staff and other families at this school become your family! The school is filled with wonderful children, staff, and families! You will not be dissapointed! Run, dont walk to get your kids in here!!!

My son has attended since pre-K and is in 7th now. There is no better school, principle, or staff in B.R. or LA. Tough curriculum, lots of work, but lots of involvement and outside activities, including sports & honors society. Every year, it is these students that become the National Merit Scholars at our major High Schools, and excel in college. They are very well prepared at BRLS. 5 Stars.

This school is wonderful! The staff is caring and truly wants every child to succeed. The acedemic standards and moral values are high. The principal knows every student by name and goes above and beyond to ensure that each child succeeds.

That the faculty and principal are caring and concerned for every child is an understatement. While the academic program is excellent, it is the people who make this a great school for its students.

The quality of the academic programs outstanding. There is intense follow up on the all levels and subjects. The programs are set-up to continually involve parents in each aspect of the learning process. The availibility of extracurricular activities is limited only due to the smaller size of the school itself. The theme 'Education Anchored in Christ' permeates througout all activities.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
