terrible they made us leave because we could not shadow our son.. How can they be a school for disabilities and not have the recourses to help them? We had to take our son out because we could not shadow him everyday.. we both work
Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas are fortunate to have Hope Academy. It is amazing to see the progress children at Hope make in academics, social skills, behavior and confidence levels. They are treated with kindness and respect but expected to work hard. The teachers and principal really "get it" when it comes to the children they serve. They also constantly look for ways to improve the quality of the school. The small class sizes are just what our kids need. Keep up the good work Hope!!
Amazing school. Our son has become a social butterfly and a straight A student because of Hope Academy and the individualized attention he receives.
Fantastic school. My son has been there for 3 years after leaving the public school system which had no idea of schooling an austic child. The entire Hope staff reaches out to each child, they are caring, always thinking of ways to improve the learning for the special need children. If Hope academy didn't exist I have NO idea of where my son would attend school.
I love my school! Each child is treating as a special and unique individual. The school works hard to meet this unique needs of each child.

My son has never been so happy and productive as he has been at Hope Academy.
My child has Down Syndrome. At Hope Academy he is expected to learn and work hard. The teaching methods at Hope Academy has given him confidence that he can learn and be a productive person. I love Hope Academy faculty and staff.
