Calvary Christian School

This school used to be the best school in Baton Rouge. They've had trouble with staff. There are no real extracurricular activities. They cared about people more before the regime change. Now they are more intense about proving their changes were right than with students. If your student is way behind, then consider Calvary. If not, you would be better off somewhere else because you never know when staffing changes will occur again. Just when your students start to love it, it gets changed up again.

For the last two years, CCS has been a life-safer for my children. The individualized attention, combined with the highest quality education and teachers available make this school one of Baton Rouge's best kept secrets! We've been to the larger private Christian schools and none compare to the quality and excellence of CCS! Dr. douglas and the faculty are the best!

I think it is great school if you are looking for one on one learning for a child. It is rather small in numbers per enrollment, but everyone is very personable. They care about your child as a person, not a number. Excellent elementary school.

That school is nothing compared to other schools i've seen the gym if you hit it with a kickball stuff comes off the floor. They never fix it! and it's just a poor poor school
