We moved to Benton 2 years ago because of Benton High School. I narrowed the Shreveport Bossier area schools down to BHS and Airline High School. I ultimately picked Benton because it is smaller and I am so glad that we did. My son loves going to school here. He has fit in nicely. He LOVES the majority of his teachers. The staff (office and teachers) are friendly to parents. I really appreciate that. If you are moving to the area and trying to decide, Benton is the best in the area.

I am very pleased with the Benton School system. Teachers are great and care about students. Alot of family involvement. Smaller school than Airline which offers more opportunities to get to know everyone! My kids would not go anywhere else in town! They went to Stockwell Elem, but did not want to go to Cope Middle or Airline High, so we moved back to Benton.

Benton High School is a 'hometown' school. Not too big to get to know one another, and you are still provided the 'big' school opportunities. The teachers take the time to get to know the students, as well as the parents. Not much has changed since I, my family, and friends have graduated. The teachers weren't just 'teachers' but friends, also. My children have gone and are now attending the school and I have to say it is one of the best in Bossier Parish!
