We just finished our 2nd year at Benton Middle (2011-12) and really could not be happier. We are a military family and this is our fourth school district. We are very pleased with the education our three children are receiving and would not want them to be at any other school in the parish. I love the office staff and the teachers - all work with you and the students to succeed.

We have been extremely happy with the education our daughter has rec'd at BMS. Great academics, sports, teachers and by far the best facilities in the parish. We moved from out of state two yrs ago and feel so fortunate to have found Benton.

I have lived in this area most of my life and I love the education my two children have received at BMS. The staff is friendly and the education is very good. The school is the perfect size...not too big or too small. Sports are also excellent. Overall I would not send my child anywhere else in this area. I like the uniform policy. Even my daughter likes it now since she does not have to decided what to wear each day.

We moved here from Lawrence Kansas, which is known for excellent schools. I have been very happy with the Benton Schools. They are much more strict. I love that the kids wear uniforms, it keeps peer pressure less for them.

Benton Middle School is a great school. I have a son in 8th grade and the teachers he has had have helped him in so many ways. And the coaches showed him what's right and wrong. And I'm proud that my son goes to school there.

Much better school now that there is a new principal. D. Slack runs a tight ship. School is over crowded though. Good teachers and great sports. I have 3 kids there now in 6th,7th, 8th grades. Now no one is forced to take French, band or choir. Have now began great computer and typing classes.
