The new principal is doing a great job articulating and executing her vision which is benefiting the kids. Test scores are up for the last two years. Check out the teachers on the web site. Notice how many have masters, are pursuing them, or are Nationally certified. Finally, all those reviews over 3 years old should be disregarded and purged. Under new management for the last 2 years. This is a great school. Is this school an option for your child? I recommend you talk to the principal and decide for yourself.
this school is very uncaring and hardly ever met up to its requirements.
Wonderful! My child has done very well at this school. I am thankful for the caring and supportive staff and administration who care about the education my child receives.
This school is not safe and the teachers dont teach much like their supposed to.
Teachers are all highly-qualified and are very caring. The art program excels state-wide with numerous awards and recognitions. Sports are the best in the district. The band had 5 state honor band awardees.
Rusheon is a wonderful school. They offer a variety of programs that meet the diverse needs of their student population. My children are happy there. Before my children started attending Rusheon, the rumors caused me to investigate the area private schools. We decided to give the school a trial run, and I am happy to say that the rumors we had heard were unfounded. The teachers there are helpful, friendly, and have the student's best interest at heart. I was a bit concerned that there was not enough challenge for my academically advanced child, but they have added programs like Spanish and creative problem solving that keep her involved and challenged. Overall, Rusheon is a great school that offers a quality education. I only wish more parents were involved in the PTO.
This school has been a disappointment. Their math and English language arts scores are below average. Some teachers don't even really teach, but rather depend on audio tapes to present the material to their class. The leadership is strong but heavy-handed. Middle-school level is too advanced to have your kids marched to class in line as if they were elementary school kids. This indicates the low behavioral expectations the school leadership has of their student body. It also interferes with the important social aspects of the school experience.
Rusheon isnt the worst school I have ever seen. Other than the issues they have had resiently with student fighting things there are relatively calm. The faculty at this school seem to have their stuff together and with the recient replacement of the band director I have no complaints. My child does very well at this school and we are pretty much kept informed on things.
This is the worst school I have ever seen. The outside needs some serious repairs. the teachers there are OK but there is a serious discipline problem. If I had a choice I would never send my kid there but unfortunatly I dont.
The quality of academic activity is okay.It could be better but its alright the way it is. There is a great availability of music, art, and sports. The level of parental involvement isn't that high I mean, Im a 7th grader here at Rusheon Middle but I would really have to say on a scale of 1-10 its a 3. Well thats what I think even though many have different opinions. Thanks, Randle Layne L.
This is a really wonderful school. People are friendly, and lively. There is a decent amount of time between classes. It's easy to make lots of friends. Not only the students but also the teachers are really wonderful friends. The food is edible, and tastes great. Students get rewards for doing good things, and are punished accoordingly for doing things that they shouldn't have. There are certain things that encourage students to do better, like the pizza for a certain amount of Accelerated Reader points. The principal and vice principal are very friendly, encouraging, and keep everyone noted on things that are occuring. The teachers and the rest of the staff are very helpful.
Well Rusheon is a very good school.I like the principal and how they give their student things when the behave good.i like how thier school is setup and how they care for their kids.but i don't like how they only give kids only about 5 to 10 minutes for break.I think after a long day of work we should at get 30 to 40 minutes of break.but i lik hoe we get pep rallys and have great bsaketballs games and great footballs. Overall Rusheon is a good school.but need to improve in some ways. don't waste money on crazy things.
