Boutte is a great school because the Teacher there care about what the children are learning. Teacher's takes their time with each student and makes sure that every student understand what is being taught. The Principle is great with the students. She is like the Mother Hen who cares about every student. They are like the Principle and Teachers we had in the old days such as the Little House on the Paririe.

My four year old has been attending BCA since he was three years old. I have had mostly pleasant experiences and feel he is learning what he should at this age in Pre-K while still having fun. I love the fact that he comes home singing Bible songs and telling us about Bible stories. I know this would not happen in public school. My only major complaint so far is that I was not contacted when an important performance was rescheduled. My 4 year old was very upset when his class was finished and mommy was not there. Broke my heart. I think communication could really improve.

I think the school is great with academics and building self esteem and character. However, improvements can be made with addressing the academically challenged needs of some of the students, and being more open with curriculum. If you are teaching history/social studies (then why not include Black History too). The student population at BCA has a number of African American students and why not teach something that they can relate to and feel good about as well. Afterall, Martin Luther King, Jr. is not the only one to have made history.

My oldest son started @ BCA in the 3-yr old program. He's now 11 yrs old & has been attending BCA for 8 yrs & loves it. My 2 younger children both started going to the preschool at 6 weeks of age. My 6-yr old is now going to Kindergarten & my daughter is still in the daycare. My children will continue to attend BCA until the 8th grade. We love the teachers, the other students, and the friendliness of all the staff. My children have learned so much attending this school. And there is more individual attention given to students than there would be in a public school. My oldest son is doing things that some middle school students in public school are just learning. Now that is amazing! We love this school & will continue to send our children & money there.

I attended BCA for 12 years (pre-school-8th grade). I enjoyed my years at BCA and still have many wonderful memories. I received a great education. The teachers were always there for me when I needed them, and still recognize me when I see them places. I have went on to nursing school now and am doing great, I believe all due to an exceptional foundation that BCA laid for me. This school was amazing and I plan to send my kids there one day!

My child is attending BCA for the 07-08 school year. I was impressed with the smiles on everyone at BCA. My child is excited to go to school each day and brags about the things she''s learning . Academics appear well rounded. Love BCA keep up the good work! H.M. Whitney

This school is a sweet little school. It has a loving staff to teach and take care of our children. My older child went to BCA for seven years. We were happy for the most part, but as for junior high, it doesn't have many extra activities for these students. For children pre- k four through 3rd this it gives a wonderful foundation in phonics. All in all, my kids loved their time at BCA and they have wonderful memories.

I think this school offers good academics and a wholesome environment compared to the public school setting.

I found quite the opposite from the previous commenter. I love BCA, and so do my boys. I have found that they are extremely strict on bullying and foul language. In fact, I consider myself pretty conservative, but I was amazed with their level of guidelines.

The school is ok on the quality of their academic programs. The biggest problem with BCA is that they allow problem children from other schools enroll in their school. That creates an enormous amount of problems which the school chooses to ignore. Bullying takes place....which they ignore. Foul language takes place...which they ignore. Teacher quality could be improved upon also.
