Great school to go to. After Hurricane Katrina, i went to Brusly. The teachers and administratiors are very helpful when you need them. I may think of taking my future kids there. Go Panthers!

I graduated from Brusly High in 2003, and am currently a sophomore enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans. Although Louisiana public schools don't have an exactly spectacular reputation, BHS served me well. The gifted program is run by some stellar folks, and through their tutoring I made a 35 cumulative on the ACT the first and only time I took it. Furthermore, the administration is quite passionate about providing a quality education as well as very supportive of the students. They've got some quality teachers there, folks. Also, BHS has some great diversity. There are a good many surprisingly interesting people to meet, and I wouldn't trade the real-world knowledge I gained there for any private education. All in all, it's a wonderful place for students to develop and learn, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for solid educational establishment.
