Papers were ran off not because of lack of books as posted previously but because of a hurricane...It takes time to order and receive. The parent posting lack of classes may not have a child in these classes but All areas of math including Advanced is offered, as well as Chemistry. Also available is Art and Music. Maybe the previous parent posting isn't aware from lack of participation.

Johnson Bayou High is a small school with only about 130 kids from k-12. we have a bb team, track team, just got base ball. they don't know how to check kids for dyslexia, and their way of testing kids who have other problems such as aspergers syndrom is to have their hearing and eyes checked, like my child. no chemistry or triganomitry or the like avalible. trying to reconstruct school right now after hurricane rita destroyed it, kids are in teporary building with no cover from rain to go from class to class, no gym to practice in and no stage to have plays on for christmass. these kids are having a hard time right now. have lack of teachers so teachers are having to double up, lack of books, so papers are being ran off for kids to work with. coaches are also working over time.

Johnson Bayou is an excellent school. The school provides a very supportive atmosphere for the students and the faculty. I was a teacher at Johnson Bayou, and I loved the kids and my fellow teachers.
