We love Richard Elementary! The teachers really care about their students, and have kept us involved in and informed of our son's progress. There's not much for extracurricular activities, but that's to be expected with such a small school. The academics more than make up for the minimal sports teams and activities.

My son attends Richard Elementary. My experences have not always been good ones. They seem in flexible when it comes to accomodating a special needs child and are often not willing to listen to the input of the parent. I have had to have several meeting with the principle and members of the school board just to get simple thing accomplished. They are often unorganized and it takes several meeting just to get everything and everyone together. They often seem unwilling to do what is necessary to help your child suceed.

This is a great school. I attended this school, and my two older children as well; and, I definitely want my younger daughter to attend as well. The principal displays good leadership skills and shows concern for the students. The number of students are not many, which results in a greater teacher-student relationship, and better learning. The only downfall about the school is that it should go till 12th grade.
