This is a belated thank you to this school for helping us during Katrina. This school opened its doors, provided uniforms and let us in en mass when we had no where else to go. They instantly integrated our children during an immense time of turmoil and my son was able to go back to his old school without missing a beat. If we wind up returning to Denham Springs, I will send my son there again.

My child is miserable at this school. I only have a problem with my child's teachers. We have had a conference with them and they were very negative. My child has no incentive to do well in class. My child's teachers are overly strict and don't focus on the positive things my child does. My child doesn't get any encouragement what so ever. The rest of the staff and school are really nice.

The teachers really care about the students. The kids feel the same way about the teachers.Keep it up. My child had never been in daycare or pre k. Her teacher is a great person. Now she knows her abc's & her writing is so good now I can see words.

My little girl, Emily, is in the first grade at Northside and I couldn't be more pleased with everyone there. The principle, the secretaries, the cafetaria staff and the teachers. They get to know the each child on a invidual basis and truly care about them. I am so pleased with the school that when looking to move to another house the most important requirement be that it is in the N.E.S. district! In talking with my neighbors I've found that I'm not the only one who feels this way. We are very commited as parents to our children and providing them with the best and we all agree that Northside is just that. I give Northside a 5 star rating! Mandy

I have three children at Northside this year. Last year I had four, one passed on to Denham Springs Jr. High. We all love Northside. I hate to see my children getting older because they will have to move on to other schools. All the teachers including the principle, work very hard with each child on an indivisual level. They are all loving, understanding and stern all at the same time. The school has alot of extracurricular activities. They work overtime when it comes to the Livingston Fair. So the children can all attend and enter there art or animals in contest. When it comes to meeting after school, parties or anything that involves us parents. The school is packed with Parents. We love or school and we will do whatever it takes to help our children. I give Northside an A!
