I've had the experience of 3 children going to SSE throughout the yrs. My youngest (2nd gr) is still an involuntary member, haha! I've had the most wonderful experiences in all aspects and activities @ SSE. My oldest daughter, now @ SSJH, was in 'Special ED' classes. I can not say enough about the teachers, asst. teachers and the program as a whole. My daughter eventually gained the self-esteem, motivation & self confidence needed to face that Jr. High world head on. This is much to do with the teachers and the way the classroom was organized and taught! I have never been so impressed as I was with the entire setting! Between the 3 children, I think I know all the teachers! hehe! I LOVE them all! I would like to extend a special 'THANK YOU' to Ms. Ballow. (asst. principal), even though she is no longer there. You're AWESOME& MISSED!

I currently have two children attending Southside Elem. Iam very pleased with the school. The staff really care about the children. Mrs. Junker, the speech therapist has been working with my daughter and she has been wonderful. It was recommended that she repeat kindergarten so I held her back, not feeling to good about my decision but working w/ Mrs. Junker I could not have made a better decision. Mrs. Junker has really done a wonderful job w/ my child.

My daughter started kindergarten at Southside Elem and is now in the second grade. I have no complaints what so ever about this school. I believe the teachers do a wonderful job with the children. My child seems happy and very content here and has made straight a's all through. Her teachers take the time to write special notes to me to let us know how she is doing and always takes the time to praise her for the special things she does in her class. Every teacher she has had since Kindergarten has always call if you to and don't hesitate and will take calls at home if needed.
