Many discipline problems and the lack of a school board that wants to show leadership kills what should be a great school.

The teachers at this school are intelligent. Most of them simply don't know how to get the message across. Many of the students worry about the wrong things. The guidance counselors are very helpful in getting you prepared to graduate and receive TOPS. If you like sports, the sports are a big deal. The biggest problem is that the school is so unorganized. They say one thing and they do another.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Louisiana used the integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) to assess students in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7 in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. About the tests

In 2011-2012 Louisiana used the End-Of-Course (EOC) tests to test grade high school students in English 2, biology 1, algebra 1 and geometry. The EOC is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Louisiana. The EOC is a high school graduation requirement. The goal is for all students to score at or above basic on the test.
