Great school and staff! I have three children that attend the Union Parish public schools and they are all wonderful!

my name is Courtney Andrews I am a current junior at Farmerville High. I love this school ALOT and I am also very proud to be included as a Fight'n Farmer. That really means alot to me, because most students myage aren't able to get a decent education. On the other hand there are a few errors involving this school. There are alot f problems thst need to be dealed with. Suchas student behavior adn fixing up around the shcool. But if you look over all the negativities of this school, its really a COOL place.

I am currently a Junior at Farmerville High School, and can only give a five star rating. This is truly a great school, and look forward for two more great years.

I am currently a student at Farmerville High School, and I applaud the staff at this school. F.H.S. has many sports, along with academic programs for its students. I LOVE IT!

I was a student here for many years. The school is seriously lagging behind. They have made efforts to catch up but are still below par. Most students must take remedial classes to catch up with other students when entering college. It is a small school with limited to no funding. I do not recommend this school.

About these ratings

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Louisiana used the integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) to assess students in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7 in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. The iLEAP is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Louisiana.

In preparation for new assessments in 2014-15, Louisiana is including more common core aligned content in LEAP and iLEAP tests in 2012-13 and in 2013-14. The percent of students earning a proficient score is expected to be lower as a result of this change.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Louisiana used the End-Of-Course (EOC) tests to test grade high school students in English 2, English 3, biology 1, algebra 1 and geometry. The EOC is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Louisiana. The EOC is a high school graduation requirement. The goal is for all students to score at or above basic on the test.
