I wish that the leaders at this school would stand up and do something about hitting , and bulling that goes on her.I think that it is a good school but the leadership needs a lot of work.

I feel the teachers at this school are excellent. Some issues could be handled differently, but I truly feel one of the only REAL issues this school has is a lack of parental involvement. If every parent gave a little, we could do a lot.

Have had 3 kids attend. Teachers for the most part are eager, willing, and dedicated. Dont care for the splitting of jr high and elem bus routes because resulting change in school hrs make it impossible to get kids to school and make it to work on time. After school child care hrs not late enough or b4 school care early enough. Changes in afternoon car pickup areas make it a circus. Administration should show more concern for children well being. Seems regular teachers are out of classroom too many days of year.

Well I must admit I could do alot more as a parent to take part in my childrens education at Folsom Elementary. I am a former student at Folsom and I am 33 years old. There are alot of familiar faces at this school and I think that that has played a crucial role. I have 2 children that attend this school and I truly believe that for a small town school there are programs in place to make sure that the childrens education is first and that no child will be left behind. I have a child that has had trouble with learning a bit slow due to his age in his class and in turn has had some behavior issues. All of these issues have been addressed in an appropriate manner with conferences and corrrespondence. This is a great school and I would reccommend this education for any child.

Folsom Elementary is a top notch school with top of the line teachers who focus on taking full advantage of all instructional time. Learning is a priority at this school and no child is left behind. I only wish that more parents would hop on board and participate. Time is a precious commodity and the teachers, faculty, admisistration and PTA could sure use more parental involvement to make this already strong school absolutely unbeatable.
