I agree about the ISS and detention. Seems like it is given for things that are so minimal. Now it is BAC what that is accomplishing I haven't figured out yet. There are many teachers that do not seem concerned about the children's success. Some do care. I believe that if more attention would be put on each child's success and less on the small unimportant things such as oh no you don't have a belt, or you don't have an ID, for goodness sakes "Pick your battles" and set the little things aside. Speak up about the math program It is horrible and are kids are failing!

This school's math scores are a product of the weak math curriculum that the district insists on continuing to use despite declining math scores. The teachers do a wonderful job of teaching as they are instructed to do so by the district.

Franklinton High School is a good school. The teachers work really hard to help you with things you don't understand. But the administration is to caught up in giving everyone iss or giving them detention for things that are not a big deal. They over react about some situations.

Franklinton High School is a pretty safe school, but mainly focused on athletics and certian support groups. I attend Franklinton High School and I personally think that this school needs to focus less on athletics and low-grade students and some on those who wish to excell in what they do.

Franklinton high school is a horrible school. The principal shows favorites. The academics comes second to sports and extracurricular activities. It seems as if the principal pays more attention to students who are troublemakers that students who are good. Personally, I am a senior, with a 3.5 Gpa and a good student and Ihave actually talked to the woman only twice in my entire life. This is a great school if you're not interested in attending college, but more into the less important part of school, like football, cheerleading, and pep rallies. Do not send your children here!

I am a junior at Franklinton High School and I love it. F.H.S. is not the boring school that everybody claims it to be. The teachers are great, and the principal is amazing. We have a very high spirited student body. Being here at F.H.S. has made my high school years the best years of my life.

I attend franklinton high school. I do think it is a great school and i am thankful the teachers work hard with the students so they are able to pass, but the principle and disiplne are more foucsed with the uniform situiations rather than the students.

I am a student at Franklinton High School, and I find our school to be one of the better schools in Louisiana. The teachers strive to encourage us to do our best and have fun doing it. Our school has several activites to keep students out of trouble and more involved. Furthermore, I feel that our school has a great principal and diciplinarian. I feel that my school is providing me with the best education possible. - Amanda B. Thomas

I graduated from Franklinton High. I feel I was very well prepared for life after high school, mostly including college. before I settled at franklinton high, I had attended 4 other schools. I felt like I received the best education I could in my parish while at FHS. no, it was not the very best education, but I felt like the administration did an excellent job in preparing me. I am now a junior in college and I still have a 4.0 GPA. each person is different, but in my opinion, FHS is an excellent school with good intentions and goals.
