I agree that principal has NO CONTROL and his people skills are pathetic as an elementary principal. Teachers do not watch the kids close enough and allow bullying and shoving of kids with no disciplinary action taken towards the bullies. I think Coach Reynolds in particular is far too strict on the elementary classes. There are many areas that could use improvement, mainly starting with the staff. Also i feel if children are required to wear uniformas, TEACHERS. principals, and teachers aids as well SHOULD SET THE EXAMPLE and be required to do the same (with the exception of cafeteria workers and janitors) The younger children should also be gong to LUNCH BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL. They are smaller, they get hungry faster. This school is SO UNORGANIZED!!!!

This is my son's first year there (2006-2007) he is in the 2nd grade. I have found that he is doing better in this school then in the private school he went to previously. I have found the staff to be helpful and courteous, and the parents are also very involved.

I have found this school in the past to adequately serve the needs of my children. The pre-K through 2nd grades are exceptional. However, in the grades not mentioned above, I have concerns. Some teachers are excellent while I feel others definitely miss the mark. Personally the previous principal seemed to be one who tried to please all, but instead pleased only a few. I've known of incidents where students have openly been disrespectful to teachers with little or no reprimand. For the new school year, 2005-2006, Glenmora Elementary will have a new principal. I have high hopes that the discipline for both students and principals will change.

I find this school to be of exemplary status as far as small rural schools go. I find that the administration, faculty, and staff do a fantastic job preparing the students to be responsible, viable members of society. Education begins at home and flows into the school.School is not an entertainment center, but rather an educational facility. If this school is to continue to be great, it will take all members of the community working together. We, as parents, must assume our role in our children's educational process and stop passing the buck and blame. Nclb has made it clear that more will be required of our future students and we must bear down and prepare our children for it. Glenmora elementary is only as good as we make it. We must realize that we won't always be with our children to cover for them, so let them be taught now!!

Principal has no control and manages his staff poorly. 5th and 6th grade teachers seem to have very poor people skills and do not have an adequate study plan that would keep students intrested and occupied.
