I believe this an exceptional public school. Great teachers, great kids, and great administration!

I as a student think H.L. is a good school. We hardly ever have fights. The principal might complain about stupid things, but that is about it. Our academic programs are not as strong as they should be, but I think they are working on that. I am not sure about music and sports, but the art program is great. I loved my art class, however I did not have room on my schedule to take more classes. I am involved in a couple of clubs. The clubs that I am in do not do much. They pretty much just have meetings. My mother is involved with band because my sister is in it. she supports me with the activites I do inside and outside of school.
