This school has the best environment for a child to really focus on their education with enjoyment. The biggest plus is the parent involvement in every aspect of the school. We also have a principle who pushes the students to be their best. In our household, everything we do is done 100%.

I love Southeastern's Lab School because of the detailed attention that my two children receive from their teachers. They promote both academic and athletic acheivement. I love the small classrooms and the fact that the principal knows every student's name. It's a true community!

We love the Southeastern Lab School because of its quality teachers, fun, family oriented activities and the overall way the school "does business". This school gets it and therefore has great parental support. My son is soaring to new heights since joining the Lab School family.

Strong academics and very qualified teachers. Not an "easy A" school. Kids are expected to perform at high levels and are very prepared for high school.

The teachers at the SLU Lab School are the best! They continually find new ways to make learning fun for the kids. Reading is highly promoted through goal setting and rewards for reading achievements. The test scores are some of the highest in the state. Parents are encouraged to stay involved through volunteer opportunities in the school's PTO. My child's education is one of my highest priorites and I am thankful everyday that my son attends the SLU Lab School!

Innovative, dedicated principal and teachers.

Lots of parental involvement and lots of school spirit make this school fun for all. However, the pressure to make high test scores is out of control. It seems as if the students that don't make them are not as well thought of. Most of the teachers are perfect for the environment. They are nurturing and involve many different ways to learn and teach. Music and art at this school are beyond compare. They are the best!
