The Principal, Ms. D is very nice, the Secretary Ms. Pam is to say the least, VERY RUDE! She dresses very unprofessional, why should the children have a dress code when staff doesn't? I have personally experienced some very scary safety situations while picking my child up from school. Because this school is so lacking in funds they are unlike the other Elementary schools Oak Hill students have to start at the same time as the High School students. As a result of this ridiculously early schedule more parents are dropping their children off and picking them up, this is where it gets scary! While walking the classes to the buses the parents are suppose to stand outside of the gates and wait for their child to come. This is NOT safe, there are too many children and too many parents to expect the teacher or child to be able to see their parent! My child earlier this week walked right out of the gates and just assumed we were there because we usually are, she could have been kidnapped or ran overs. Luckily a friend saw her looking for us and brought her home, oh forgot to mention she is only 5. My baby will not be attending this school next year!
