My two children attend Lisa Park. One is in first grade, one in Pre-K. I love this school! Teacher/ Parent involvement is outstanding, and education is first. I would not put my kids anywhere else.

I have a 1st grader at Lisa Park and he loves it. I went to Lisa Park years ago and besides having new teachers, I feel that I am walking into the same familiar environment. It was a hard choice to decide between Lisa Park and Private school, but after my positive experiences there in the past, I knew it was a good placement for my little one coming out of Merry Oaks Preschool, Lisa Park presented him with the proper challenges he required.

My child has atteneded Lisa Park for one year now and has loved it. Academically the school is wonderful. The teachers are great but I do find some like yelling to much. As for as the office staff they are not to friendly. The secretary in particular always has a bad attitude. She is the first person you meet when you come to the school and that alone just would leave a bad impression. Overall this school is one of the better schools in the district.

I think Lisa Park is a great school. I think the staff there overall is great. The challenge the kids to do there best. With parents help Lisa Park can continue to be Great.

So you see, the only reason this can be called a 'great school', is because you don't have to worry about your child's safety there. The academics, like most Louisiana schools, are not up to par.

This is the best school around. Me and my 6 year old daughter are very pleased to be apart of this wonderful school. The principal, teachers, and staff are ALL nice respectful people, that all the kids there love.

This school is waaaayy over rated. Upon entering the school, a big banner boasts, Welcome to Lisa Park, where no child is left behind. Yeah, right. My children were left behind from day one. Th reason why Lisa Park has such a great reputation, is because it's in a yuppy neighborhood. If your child is not 'from the hood', so to speak, they will be completely out of their element at Lisa Park. The teachers and faculty are completely unable to handle the challenge of teaching children that do not fit into the mold. If your child is not an honor student before they go to Lisa Park, don't expect them to suddenly become one once there. The teachers and faculty will not go out of their way to help your child. If they can't keep up with the pace, they will most certainly be left behind!

My husband and I researched school districts before purchasing a home. After looking at several places, we decided to buy a home in the Lisa Park area. My daughter has attended Lisa Park for the last three years and our entire family has been very satisfied with the education she is receiving! All of her teachers have been wonderful! The entire staff, from the principal to the custodians, does their best to provide a happy, safe, learning environment. My daughter is currently in 4th grade and will take the LEAP test early next year. Since it is such an important test, we are all concerned about it. After talking to her teacher, the anxiety has been lessened. The teacher's lesson plan includes test preparation that began at the start of the school year. Such preparation demonstrates the Lisa Park motto of: 'Striving for Excellence.'

I have had 3 children who has attended and 1 child who currently attends Lisa Park. I feel that the school prepares them for Jr. High. Lisa Park stives on giving the children the best education that they can recieve. The programs that they offer is the best. It is a pleasure to say that my children attended and is currently attending Lisa Park Elementary.
