This is my Son's first year at Green Lawn. He came from Baby Ben and its a big difference. Green Lawn doesn't have recess and they don't teach a second language. The school day is about an hour shorter. The school is very secure you cannot enter without being buzzed in. The registration process was a smooth sailing. Its a high poverty high performance school. I'm not very enthused with it yet but the school has potential
My son's behavior was very difficult to control as a toddler when he enrolled in Pre-K at Greenlawn. While he has always been a bright child; however, he challenged authority and continued to disrespect his peers. My child was never labeled, but loved. He is now enrolled in the 1st grade and through tremendous efforts, dedications, and patience from Greenlawn teachers, my son's behavior and grades (All A's) are now a direct reflection of the outstanding job the staff has been doing for years. If you are looking for a school with a genuine concern about your children well being, as well as a 1st rate education, then LOOK NO FARTHER THAN GREENLAWN ELEMENTRY.
