The school is excelent. Even though it is a small enviorment, it benafits the students. The teachers are able to get closer to the stundents. Everyonr there pervides a loving learning enviorment.
This is a great schol with a dedicated faculty and staff and supportive administration. There are high expectations for students to succeed and parental participation is on the rise. There are many positive behavior incentives as well. Bayou Lacombe is a small, community school that is doing a great job.
The school is really improving school spirit with the positive rewards for good behavior and citizenship. The community is really supportive of the new incentives and encouragement.
The technology in the classrooms is awesome! They have mobile laptop labs, science labs, promethean boards, elmos, etc. Wow!
This a school with great teachers and staff, active parents and wonderful students. It has a low student-teacher ratio; my son was one of 12 in his class this year and had a great experience. The school is a great reflection of the small, diverse, close-knit community that it's in. They offer a wonderful after school program, there are gifted classes, music programs, and counseling for students who need it, just to name a few benefits of the school. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of every student. The principal is very open and easy to contact.
