Rapides High School, along with now our Jr. High is growing in number and most importantly our educational learning. We now offer High School students college credit courses for English, Math, Science and Social Studies. We also offer honor courses to our Jr. High students which allows them to take higher level courses. I anticipate our scores for iLEAP and GEE to be substancially higher this school year than ever before. The credit will be attributed to our fantastic faculty and motivated students to achieve this goal. I would currently give our school rating a 9.
all this school needs is more sports, give scholarships, and to do other things that really interest the student body.
Rapides High School is a great rural school where all the kids know each other. The learning environment is very good with clean school grounds and classrooms. All the teachers are very good and do their best to help each student. I have two students there and have not one complaint. I would highly recommend it to any parent coming into our school zone. We also have very good basketball and baseball programs and coaches.
