I have two children enrolled here and they just love it!! The student teacher ratios are fantastic!! The teachers are also very involved with the children and spend large amounts of one-on-one time with them. The director clearly loves children and visits all the class rooms daily! A GREAT school for your children to get all the fundimentals they need to be sucsseful in there later years!

Public is better than this: qy son is in k5... This class has NO structure!!! They have a morning freetime... They say for 15 mins. But its about 30... They have recess... They advertise no naps, but dont be fooled!! Instead of napping they watch a movie for 45-60 mins while k4 sleeps next door... Movies that students bring to school such as; alvin & chipmunks, princess & the frog, etc... Nothing educational... Then they have another freetime for about 30 mins again.... Freetime consists of playing with barbie dolls, trucks, and making paper airplanes that they fly across the room... Yes they are allowed to use their school supplies to make airplanes and fly multiple planes in class on a DAILY basis until just recently when the teacher realized that their construction paper was low...Really??? Not to mention the countless "free days" when there is no teaching at all..Whenever you go in, there is trash all over the floor, kids screaming, running around the room... No effective discipline. Take a tour of faith training (wherevmy child will be going next year) and you will notice a HUGE difference.. Im not talking about the buildingithrrer.. The $5 extra is worth it. HORRIBLE SCHOOL!

I have two children that attend here, one of them is a special needs child. The teachers are excellent, they care for both of my children unconditionally. Unlike another private school in the area that we tried, the teachers and principle of the school take the time and extra effort to minister good Christian values to the kids, and take the time to meet the additional needs of my diabetic daughter. My children are loved and well cared for. The education curriculum is the same curriculum used at the other christian school in town, however the cost here is less for some reason, and the resource and suppy fees are noticably less. Even though this school is not as new as others, the facility is in good condition and well maintained. The teachers are first quality and I feel my kids are getting the best education for the money.

I am extremely satisfied with the academy. Both of my sons have been going here (day care and 2nd grade) since 2007 and we love it. I think the teachers are AWESOME! The entire staff is excellent and they are always willing to work with the parent in whatever area is needed to make sure the child is taken care of. The small class setting truly give the teachers the opportunity to explore the best way each child learns and they use whatever technique that works for the child. They are very creative and very patient. It is known that it takes a village to raise a child and this is a bid part of my village. I wouldn't trade them for the world. We love you FACA!

All of my kids have been going to FACA (daycare) since they could walk, my oldest now attending 2nd grade at the academy! I have to say that I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the daycare (my youngest is still full time daycare) and the academy (daughter 2nd and son K5). The staff are terrific and it just feels like family. The A Bekka curriculum is fabulous and the small class sizes establish great teacher/student relationships and allows the teachers individual awareness to provide additional assistance or to challenge your child if they are getting bored. They are not singularly focused on iLEAP like the public schools, but they do administer the ITBS. I wish they had more in the way of extracurricular activities, but they are a small school. I really cannot say enough positive things about FACA!

After several years of both my children attending this school, they have left this school. I found that while this was a good school for my children to grow spritually it wasn't the best academically. Unfortunately because this is a private school, resources are limited and when cuts are made, programs such as PE or Spanish are cut out. If you really are interested in your children attending good public schools, other options are available in the area such as Anacco, Rosepine, and Pickering.

My daughter has been a student of FACA for 4 years. I love the indepth Biblical orientation and detailed structure provided by the A Beka program. Using A Beka, students progress through a series of workbooks and textbooks for their grade level. The curriculum provides a rigorous worksheet approach that keeps children on an accelerated track. As a parent, I am provided detailed day-by-day directions for homework assignments and must initial completed work. The small student to teacher ratio provides the environment for students to excel. My daughter is an 'A' Honor Roll student every year.

Excellent academics, especially reading and music programs. We moved out kids out of Ft Polk schools to go here. We like it so much my wife teaches there now! Excellent balance of education and Christian foundations we could not find anywhere else. Solid and trustworthy staff and experienced principal. Just the right balance of discipline and freedoms for our children. School is safe, enjoyable, and rewarding in all aspects. We send all three of our children here. We highly recommend it to anyone. I am just so glad we found this school for our chilren here.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
