I graduated from South Beau it's a great place to send your children to,I have three children that have graduated from this school and my grand children attend there now, for the people that don't like the school and say negative things about the school take your children some where else no one will miss you.

I don't recommend this school. The teachers say one thing then do something totally different. You can never get a straight answer out of any of them. We moved here about 4 months ago and my children are miserable. The kids talk and do whatever they want and teachers just let everything go. I have one that needs resource classes and we are still trying to get those lined up. No one seem to be worried about anything. We have family members that were looking to move out to this area we have told them to reconsider because of the school. It's absolutely horrible.

I am a sophmore. I love our school. Our test scores are the some of the best in the state, and we have great programs. Our band program is amazing, Mr. Micheals and Mr. Jones are really good at what they do. Student dicipline can be better though but I really love our school.

I just graduated from SB an I have to say, it was by far one of the finest schools in the area! As many of you have said, yes, there are teachers there who simply 'draw a paycheck' but there are also teachers who honestly care. As far as the 'not learning anything' part, that's all about the student's interest. If your child is interested in learning, there are PLENTY of opportunities to do so! There are basic courses available, advanced, and even college credit courses. There is even a new Pharmacy Tech program that allows graduating seniors to become licensed Pharmacy Technicians. I for one, do believe that the opportunities to learn ARE there! When I graduated this past year, I was able to earn enough academic scholarships to have my college completely paid for, and I know many others who also did the same. A great school!

I have children that attend school at South Beauregard Jr. High and High School. There are pros and cons to the school. There are some very good teachers that work there and then there are some teachers that just draw a paycheck. I believe that there needs to be some changes in the administration because there is a growing need of discipline school-wide (even with teachers.) Our children suffer because of the lack of effort on some of the teachers, but on the other hand there still are some awesome teacher there. I believe all schools have these type of problems, but it needs to be addressed and taken care of immediately!

I dont think this school is a very good school for my child to attend. The principal and teachers are disrespectful to the students parents. They don't teach them anything and they learn NOTHING!! I do not recommend this school for any parent to send there child to.

Well I went to SB from Kindergarten - 12.. I loved every thing about south beauregard.. It is a great school. I played softball my whole high school career and that was the BEST part. Coach Deason is the best softball coach than any person could ask for. So if your into softball. Send your kids there. And I know when I have kids. They will be going to none other than South Beau. I attended SBH from 1st grade till I graduated. That was 12 years ago. Now my own children go there. Like any other school we have our problems but academically they are top notch. I have a straight A student. And my son scored highest in the school on his Leap 2 years ago. He also had top scores last year. I love the fact that we are small enough for individual attention but big enough to offer something for everyone. Jessica Douga
