My son has been at Mimosa Park going on 3 years and we absolutly love it. They have really put alot in to my son. During the year we ran into some problems and Mimosa Park never gave up on him, they really gave it all they had to help him. Jessica Breaux.

My son is a third grader at Mimosa Park. I think that it is a wonderful school. My son really enjoys the teachers and the atmosphere. I feel that his teachers have really help to mold him for the 4th grade. Thank you

We have been very pleased with the overall quality of teachers and curriculum at Mimosa. The teachers genuinely care about every student and will do whatever is necessary to ensure every child is given an opportunity to learn and grow as an individual. All those who work at Mimosa, from the cafeteria workers, custodians to the administrative staff are just great.

I, like you, had to find out information on this site. At the time I was looking for more on Mimosa Park I did like the 'stats' but had no one to give me the inside scoop...Im here to give it to you..I have been very inpressed with the school, teachers, and support that we have experienced at Mimosa. The teachers really care. They make the most of everyday and keep everything so interesting the kids cant help but learn. My son loves his teachers and has excelled just in the short time he has been there.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Louisiana used the integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) to assess students in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7 in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. The iLEAP is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Louisiana.
