This school is awesome. Both of my daughters went here and they turned out to be smart and brilliant kids. This school is like no other. The staff is so great and involved in everything, if you are looking for a good education, send your kids HERE!
We recently moved here from the southshore and we thought our son would be going to Fountain Bleu ( very huge ) which we were told was the best school around here but we fell in Montleone district we are very happy our son got to start school here the teachers are great and in a new area with no friends we were worried about him getting lost in the shuffle of a big school. L.P. Montleone is very new and smaller so he fit right in and with a first time championship football team this year we had a blast watching our son play football almost going undefeated! Go Marlins!
My son went to school here and I was very pleased with the education he received and amazed at how awesome the administration and staff were.
We have had children in the school since it opened and our 3rd child is there now. I can't say enough about the teachers...they are incredible and so easy to work with...another rater said communication needed to improve between parent/teacher and assignments were never up...don't know what her situation is but we always have assignments up on the teachers websites and I have all of the teachers' email addresses at my fingertips if needed...and they always reply. Due to the small school size my children are in smaller classes and get more attention from the teachers which makes it ideal! We love the school. Only negative would be due to the small school size the athletic teams are not always so good...but, school is about education not sports!
Great School small and my child loves it. Teachers are great also.
The school itself looks great, however the communication between teachers and parents needs to be improved. STI site is hardly ever updated in a timely manner, and parents may find it difficult to track their child's progress (or lack thereof). Homework assignments are never posted, so parents can't check to see that assignments are done. Hope this changes in the near future.
I absolutely love Monteleone Jr. High! The teachers are wonderful and truly care for their students. The school offers many different opportunities for the students. I am looking foward to finishing up my 7th grade year at this school. I'm very excited about starting 8th grade there. This is an overall excellent school!
Monteleone Junior High is probably the best junior high in St. Tammany Parish. The size of the school makes it a lot easier to get around and to get to know the student body. I made so many new friends at Monteleone and learned so much. Monteleone Junior gave me many oppurtunites both in sports and academically. I truly enjoyed the two years I spent at Monteleone, and I feel that I was prepared for the high school level.
monteleone is an awesome school. the students, teachers, and faculty are so welcoming and helpful. my past two years at monteleone have been great, and im sad to be leaving. i feel that discipline is kept tight and the size makes the school easier to get around and become familar with all the students and teachers around the school. in the few short years that monteleone has been around it really has set a higher standard for other junior highs to meet!
Awesome school with great teachers and faculty. The gifted program is really top-notch and I've learned alot in my two years there.
