Having a larger school is a definite advantage for the students. This presents an opportunity for more subjects as well as sports. The challenge will be the distance to travel to and from school but in the long run will be invaluable for the student.

When Marion and Linville first combined there were alot of students and parents who did not agree with it. And at first I wa one of those students. But I soon made a lot of new friends and would not wish it any other way. But for the people who want to talk trash about not careing if Linville closed or wish it would have stayed open so we would have never combined, Linville had higher scores than Marion did and Linville also had less fights and less drama. Total lack of discipline and no structure at all. I am thinking to relocated to a better district.

Marion High School is alright to me. My three siblings and I attend it now. The only one of us that has trouble is my little brother. I like mot of the teachers st Marion. They are interested in our work and actually care about where we might end up in the future, but some teachers do notmake us to any work and when it comes to the bid test we just have to wing it and use the shills we already have to try to do good on it. I have no problem with exceot for the population of the school. I thibk that they should combine MHS and LHS. It is nonsense to have two schools in a town that is as small as Marion. There might be some difficulties but I think that most of the people would get over it. Thank you for listening to me.
