I cannot say enough good things about NOJDS. I truly feel that the faculty and administration at the school work hard to discover my children's needs both academically and socially, then find ways to fulfill those needs. I can't even imagine a more nurturing or stimulating environment. I only wish there were more grades so that my children could continue to reap the benefits of this school!

NOJDS is a hidden gem in the Jefferson Parish private education spectrum. Teachers are experienced, accredited, and most importantly care about their students. Small class sizes in each grade. The Head of School, Dr. Berk and staff are doing an amazing job with the curriculum. Diversity in faiths/races is steadily increasing. My children have attended a traditional private Catholic and public school, but we have found a TRUE meaning of community in The New Orleans Jewish Day School. Please keep up the great work!!!!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
