As a new teacher, I can honestly say that PAC is my home away from home. The faculty and staff at this school are some of the most caring and loving people I have ever come in contact with. The children are raised in homes where heritage and family are priorities - which is easy to forget as our lives get busy. These children help remind me that it is the simple things in life that mean the most.
I am very saden about the first review. Both of my childern went to pac. I love this little school very much. The staff and teachers are great. My forth grader is sad to have to leave this school. I have found my childern have learned alot from the teachers and staff.I feel very welcome at pac. This is the first school my childern go to that i feel that i can walk in the door and talk the mrs. Lafont or my son's teacher. I feel very welcome there. M. Boquet
Pointe_aux-Chenes Elementary has the most caring faculy that I have ever had to pleasure to be associated with. Each child is treated as an individual with equality and respect. Each child's education is very important to each and every teacher at the school. I will be very sad when it comes time for my child to move on to the middle school.
I think PAC Elementary School is becoming a detriment to my child's selfesteem. School is supposed to be a place where parents send their children to learn to read and write. There are poor judgements made. We as parents should not have to feel that we are not welcomed at our children's school. I know kids will not always do the right things but you can't expect them to be perfect. This school rely on the amount of Indian students in the school in order to receive grants and other benefits. Which is great but should't pity the community because of their race or living conditions. The problem is that the staff assumes too much without knowing the facts. My child has learned alot, but also learned that not everyone is treated equally.
