2013-2014 (and looking forward)... This school as change so much, with new well educated, professional, caring teaches. The school is now organized and seems to know what they are doing. They even updated the school, not just with a new principal and office clerks, but with fresh paint. Before this school year i was trying to take my son out of this school due to the lack professionalism, uneducated, and unorganized staff. NOW thanks to the "new upgrade" i have singed my 3 year son up for the next school year. Only one year of change and i've noticed a difference. Looking forwarded to new things to come. The only thing my son(9) complains about is the food, breakfast and lunch is now healthier and less tasting. Sometimes he states he does't eat the food.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Louisiana used the integrated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (iLEAP) to assess students in grades 3, 5, 6, and 7 in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. The iLEAP is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Louisiana.

In preparation for new assessments in 2014-15, Louisiana is including more common core aligned content in LEAP and iLEAP tests in 2012-13 and in 2013-14. The percent of students earning a proficient score is expected to be lower as a result of this change.
