Marrero and Harvey LA-Need advice PLEASE!

I am transferring to Belle Chasse, LA this November and buying a house in either Marrero or Harvey this December. (2012) My girls will be in Middle School and they are not mature enough to walk home and be alone for 2-3 hours before I get home. I'm looking for after school care can someone please help? I have been looking online and not having that much luck. I want a safe and licensed daycare with people that care. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Go ahead and contact a few of the prospective schools that interest you. Ask about programs that they have for after school. Most middle schools will either have a program on site or could refer you to the ones that pick up from the school and take them back to a facility. Perhaps a park and rec program or a "Y" program.
