I strongly encourage parents to personally pursue information about any school in which they may consider placing their child. All schools, both private and public, offer different types of academic programs and/or school environments designed to address student learning. Naturally, what some schools offer is better than others. Rather than accept potential misinformation from the Internet or other sources, it is incumbent upon every parent to find out for himself/herself exactly what a school has to offer and then determine if that is sufficient to meet the child's needs.
I sent my child there when she started she was reading and now can't read at all. All the teachers teach the kids is how to react at a program to get more business. Nothing educational. They don't tell you but the same curriculum they teaching you can keep your child home and teach them yourself. They don't teach your child watch it on TV, it's a tape they play for your kids to learn off of and with kids today you have to physically teach it to them and that's not something they will do. You can't just take your child out of this school and put them in regular school. The school Board in Opel. have to fully test them to see what level their on because it's been that bad at this school with them passing your child and your child not knowing the next grade. Always check the papers that come home with your child including (A's) don't just pass it up like I did. I learned the hard way with this school. My child A's were F's. Something we see and never read over. Take time and read everything.
I sent my son there and he was in the third grade on a First grade level I swear it was really bad. PLEASE PLEASE KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY
My daughterr attends this school. Her 1st week of school, she learned The Our Father Prayer, her numbers 1 -100 (she already knew 1-20) and she also learned many other things. This is an excellent school. I'm sure there has been many improvements since it 1st opened, if not this school would not be 1 of the approved schools to get the State grant. Before you post negative things about this school on Facebook and other Social Networks, try getting some up to date facts and not statements for 2009. My daughter will continue to attend Family Worship Christian Academy. Kids are taught well and loved at this school
Warm loving atmosphere, discipline is with warm positive attitude, nurture individuals talents, excellent cirriculum.
