Hattie Watts and everyone at the school are the best people I have ever had to deal with, they are great! I wish my son could spent all of his school years at Hattie Watts under the guides of Mike Ortiz and his staff. The St. Mary School system should feel very lucky to have employees and a school in our Parish like Hattie Watts, I am very proud to say my son is a part of this wonder school. Best Regards James W. The student/teacher ratio published here is not correct. In The school has a great staff and dedicated teachers, but they are often overworked. The working conditions often distract from their overall effectiveness. The physical buildings are old and need to be replaced with a new school.
Hattie Watts is a wonderful elementary. My child has been fortunate to have such wonderful teachers. Mrs. Guillot is such a positive role model for her faculty, staff and students. Keep up the good work Hattie Watts Elementary!
