My two sons attend Mary Goff this year. My children are very well taken care of and you can tell the teachers do care about the students. They stand outside in the afternoons and help the children into the vehicles and every one of them are very nice. I also substituted in the school last year and was able to meet a lot of the staff. My children are learning many things and are well educated. As far as the PTO is concerned there is a president of the PTO but there are also many other members. We have also only had one fundraiser at a time over the course of last year and so far on this year. The boys are happy there and we are sad that they may have to trade schools due to moving next school year.
Mary Goff Elementary School needs more parent involvement! The PTO was run by 1 person this past year and the Principal held fund-raisers at the same time the PTO did and that is not fair to our students and parents who have to put out double the money to support our school. The school need to have a stricter discipline plan in my opinion.
