As a concerned Mother, I would not advise any one to move to Port Barre Louisiana for their children's schooling. As for as Port Barre Middle School goes this has got to be the worst school in the parish in keeping parents informed of their childrens academic standings. Not only is this school the worse, it happens to be the only Elementary, Middle or High School in the parish that fails to give out progress reports to the parents of children. We know nothing in regards to our childrens grades until report cards are in. Students are entrusted there to write down their own grades and give them to parents. What a Hoot! Teachers could care less, Principle cares more about athletics than academics!
