I'm a senior and i love this school.all the other students and teachers and staff are so nice.the classes are wonderful.
I think Central is the most wonderful school any student could attend. the classes are awesome and fun but you still learn what you need to, also the extra curricular activities are nice and can keep you pretty occupied.
I think Central is an awesome school! Sure there are problems with it, but what school doesn't have those. I'm now in my sophomore year there and it's improved so much since I was a freshman. Last year there was a seperated feeling about the school, you spoke to you class and your class only. But now we're uniting as one student body and spirit has risen 100%. You wouldn't even believe it's the same high school. The teachers are amazing and try to get us, the students, involved as much as possible. And this year, unlike many in the past, we are Trojans and are proud to share it with the world. Ask anyone where they go and I'm willing to bet that 95% of the kids will say 'Yea I go to Central, got a problem with that?!' And out football is amazing this year, WOOOO go Trojans!!!!
As a student at Central, I felt like I should submit a small review, just giving my opinion of the school itself and how it is. I myself, hate Central. Teachers do not pay attention to what goes on with the students in their class. And if they do, they choose to ignore it. Some teachers, I shall not mention names, do not even attempt to teach their students, and merely hands them a paper and says 'fill this out, test tomorrow' or something along those lines. Some do not try to explain anything, or help students when they need it. Some fuss one person for assisting another when they do not understand something written in their notes. They will fuss students for not having their shirt tucked in, or having a belt on, yet they say nothing to the ones who are messing with, teasing, and bullying others. If a terrible event happens, they do not wish for anyone to know about it. Those who run the school wish nothing more than to try and make Central seem like the perfect school! Parents know nothing of what truely happens at school, and most students never say anything, because normally, no one believes what they are saying, or are too ignorant to care. The only reason I have not yet switched schools is because I have not the power to do so myself. I shall stop writing for now. I do understand that what I wrote was one-sided, but it is what I have witnessed through the year. I may just be a Sophomore but I realize many things like this all the time, so do not underestimate what I say.
This is a very good school. I attended for all four years of high school. The academic program for the parish is very well organized. Lafourche Parish puts a lot into their schools. There are a lot of extracurricular activities within this school. Highly recommend this school.
Central Lafourche is not a good school. Also the parents know nothing taht is going on, we dont get letters are any thing.
Central Lafourche is an awesome school. I received a lot of useful skills and meet wonderful teachers and friends there.
