Small classes mean more student attention. A great country school.

Indian Bayou Elementary is an outstanding school! There is a family-like atmosphere that you just can't find anywhere else. The teachers, staff and especially the Principal, Mr. Lynn Vincent have a way of making the students and the parents feel welcome. Indian Bayou Elementary is again this year a school of 'Recognized Academic Growth' due to high test scores. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful school and community. Thank you Mr. Vincent for making a difference in my childrens lives and in all the lives that you touch on a daily basis. You are a shining example for others. We are blessed!

My child entered this school three years ago with disicpline and learning problems. I know instantly I couldn't have moved him to a more loving and care school when my child was taken under a wing and finally taught school work , instead of being swept under the rug and overlooked as he did at the school he came from. My child was behind when entered this school , but was soon at the same level as his class. He graduated 8th grade here this year and it really scares me to see him go to high school ,but I keep reassuring myself he will be just fine now that he has had Mrs Beverly help him to the level he needs to be. Thanks for being the person you are. Coach V which is the principal there had a great helping hand too.... or should I say a way with adjusting attitudes in a positive way. Thank Ya'll
