Forest Hills is an outstanding school! Two generations of my family have attended there. Great place to send your kids! :-)

Every morning the school day starts with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by singing 'America'. The Grandparents Day Program started the same way. I thank God we still have schools teaching patriotism and pride for our great country. United we stand ... devided we fall. When my Granddaughter's teacher was told a child said she was tough, she said she didn't mind at all being called tough, as long as they said she was fair. She said that her job was to prepare the fifth graders for middle school next year, and that when they left her class it was her intention that each and every one of them would be ready. This is the kind of teacher we need in our schools. This is the last year at Forest Hill for my oldest granddaughter, but next year her younger sister will start there. I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else.

Love the school and staff. PTA is horrible. Planning events is bad, they need work.

This school is horrible. They let my son fall behind in academics. They did not even notice he had adhd or had problems with his sight. I hope your teachers will start watching their students better.

Forest Hill is a great school. My daughter attended Forest Hill'07-08 year and enjoyed it well. The prinicipal there is awesome. The staff is friendly, the PTA is large with full parent involvement. The best fifth grade teacher would be Mrs.Gail Karen Tyndall. She makes sure your child is prepared for the world of middle school and its rules.Forest Hill is the best public school within Shreveport.

Forest Hills is great. My children are extremely pleased at this school. There are numerous great qualities: Extremely organized, everyone is on task and where they are supposed to be, the teachers are all approachable-they regularly corrospond with the parents and keep you informed, lots of school activities and incentives for the students, and the principal addresses everyone including parents by name. I love this school. And would definitely tell everyone about. My car wears it's Bronco magnet proudly.

My children go to school here and completely love it! I am also very very pleased with the teachers. They all truly love what they do. I am blessed to have such a strong neighborhood school in the area.

Forest Hill is a wonderful school. Its demographics are changing rapidly year after year, but it still manages to hold its head high. You can't find a better school with more caring teachers and satff members. I have three children that attend this school. They love their teachers and feel safe at school. I feel that we are blessed to be at Forest Hill now.

Both of my children attend this school. I have one in the 5th grade and one in the 3rd grade. It is a good school but the principals leadership abilities concern me. We had an incident with a teacher last year and it took him 3 MONTHS to rectify the situation. WAY TO LONG! Until then my husband and I had no complaints at all with the school. And so far this year everything has been great.

From the very first visit at Forest Hill I knew I would like it simple because the staff was very friendly and very organize.Every teacher you saw handling a student was very loving and they showed that child love and compassion as if it was their own.On back to school night I was so impress with the concern parents. There was so many parents involved that night. The principal,he is always visible every morning. My grandchild is so excited about her new school. She loves her teacher and her teacher is so awesome. The first nine weeks are almost to an end and my grand has learn so much already. She is an kindergarten in Ms. Jones class.

I am very disappointed with this school. My son attended this year for the first time. The teacher did not show and care or concern for my son. She was not able to provide any quality insight reqarding his education and ways that I could help at home. The principal and assistant principal are clueless. I would never recommend this school to anyone who cares about their children

Two of my kids go to Forset Hill. My two younger brothers and I attended the same school years ago. Alot of the teachers there were teaching at this same school over 20 years ago! My kids love this school and I feel real safe knowing they are there getting a good education from excellent teachers!

My child has only been attending this school for two weeks but I have already noticed a drastic improvement. He has real text books and the learning atmosphere is 100% better. The teachers and overall atmosphere of the school are amazing!
