South Highlands Elementary Magnet School

My son transferred to South Highlands this year as a second grader, and he transferred from a very strong neighborhood school. I cannot tell you how wonderful this experience has been! I wish all students could know what it is like to go to a school where EVERYONE is dedicated to making you a success in learning. They set the bar very high, and the kids reach the bar! A tough decision to leave our neighborhood school, but he is reaping a benefit that his other school would not have been able to provide. We love you. South Highlands!

I can't say enough about the quality of education my daughter is receiving at South Highlands. Caring teachers, awesome technology, and a principal who is always thinking of ways to make the school more effective . . . . what else would a parent want?? A 5-Star School!

I have raised 3 children who have graduated from college. Now I have a daughter in the 5th grade at South Highlands. South Highlands is the finest school I have ever been associated with. My only regret is that it doesn't have a middle school for my daughter to attend.

South Highlands Magnet School offers a wonderful learning environment for children. I love that the school is so diverse, with people of different cultures, races, and, especially, socio-economic backgrounds. However different our make-up might be, we all share the most important quality -- a love and respect for education. There is definitely an intellectual curiosity that abounds at South Highlands school. That, combined with the teachers' efforts, administrative support and super parental involvement, makes South Highlands Magnet School an awesome place to be.
