A. C. Steere Elementary School

I love A.C. Steere! My children have had very positive experiences. My children come home everyday telling me about all new things they have learned. The Teachers & Staff are excellent. I would not want my children going anywhere else.

We have been very happy at this school. It is not without issues, but for the most part the teachers are great and the staff is wonderful. We are very glad to have attended this school.

I love this school. But, more importantly, my daughter loves this school! I was leary of 'public' schools and had our daughter in private school. We decided to try our neighborhood school. Our daughter loves to go to school, loves her teacher and has learned so much more in this year than private school. She was unhappy and dreaded going to school. She now wakes up and is ready to go! I am a firm believer that a child will excel in an enviroment they like even if it's not as fast paced and pushy as some private schools. Mrs. Booras is an excellent teacher and could never thank her enough for teaching and caring for my child. ACS is a very 'community friendly' school. Parents are involved in all areas from volunteering to help in the classrooms, going on field trips, classroom parties, and fundraising. Awesome school!

The qualities of academics at this school are extremely superior. All three of my children completed their elementary years at A C Steere and they were prepared for more than just middle school. The teachers are the best. The parents are involved. The kids love this place. There is a lot of tradition and history in this school. I wish our kids could have structure like this all the way thru 12th grade. Good luck to anyone trying to find anything better. You won't find it in private, magnet schools, or anywhere any state! A total neighborhood influence school with these kind of scores! WOW! Thanks to all the staff at Steer for helping provide my children a wonderful childhood experience.
