Summer Grove Elementary School

My child have been at Summer Grove since kindergarten and she loves it, all of her teachers have been great. No school is perfect, I would recommend this school to other parents.

I used 2 go 2 Summer Grove and i loved it !!! I started goin 2 it during my 3rd grade year. 3rd waz alright, 4th waz ok, but 5th grade waz awesome !! They have soo much fun activities 4 students like Pizza Day every Friday, honor roll assemblies and a they throw a fun celebration 4 tha 5th graders on their graduation day. Though this school is strict, it is very easy, i made staight A's all year in tha 5th grade and i had tha best teacher too. I am at Caddo Middle Magnet now (#1 2008 Middle School in Louisiana) and i truly miss Summer Grove, and i only went for 3 years, but now my sister goes there and i visit my old teachers. Peace-Luv-Happiness to all !!! i will alwayz miss Summer Grove !!!

My son attends this school and I feel that some of the teachers also constantly yell and scream at the kids. I heard it myself first hand during a vist to the school and couldn't believe my ears. Glad she wasn't my childs teacher.

My daughter has been going to this school for a week now and she loves this school.It seems like a strict school school and that is what alot of children need these days.She loves the teachers and has made good grades.She is in the second grade.

My child has just been transferred from Barret Elementary to Summer Grove. She has always made pretty good grades, but her conduct was another problem. She's been at Summer Grove for only a week and I can already see a difference in her conduct. So far, so good. I'll just have to wait and see how she does for the rest of the year.

My child has attended this school for three years and it has gone from bad to worse. The teachers and staff constantly yell and scream at the students. It has been compared to a boot camp. My child is miserable and very unhappy.
