I go to Walnut Hill and I love it there! I have been there since Pre-K and I am currently in the seventh grade. All of my best friends and teachers are awesome and they couldn't be better! I also don't remember a time i got lower than a mastery on my iLeap and Leap tests. Anyway I love Walnut Hill and it is the best school ever!!
I love this school! Mr. Hardison is an amazing leader. My children went to another school in the area where there was nothing but trrouble. I am so glad we were able to move into the walnut hill district and my kids can get the kind of education they deserve from people who genuinely care about the students

I really like the school. My two children are being challenged and learning a lot of new things. I wish they had better school pick up and drop off...it takes so long with such limited space. The kids run to the buses and rough house in the grass...makes me a little nervous someone will get hurt. The middle school kids are rude and loud...they shut doors on kids and parents and they run and scream in halls. If they could fix the way the middle schoolers behave it would be a great school that set a great example for the younger kids. My little ones are scared to use the bathroom and walk in the halls because the staff tolerates and approves of how the middle schoolers act. The security guard who helps with car drop off/pick up is AWESOME. He is really an asset to the school.

My granddaughters just started to school at Walnut Hill this year. One is second grade, the other sixth grade. The second grader says she only has a choice of chicken nuggets, hamburgers, pizza, etc. The sixth grader says she has a choice of these things or healthy plates of food. We have taught our kids to eat healthy. The second grader is missing out on healthy food, which she likes, and I don't understand. What is the deal with this?
I had three girls attending in 1996 and now two grandsons attending Walnut Hill. I think it is the best school around this area. Mr. Hardison really cares about his students and their school. Strive for the best, be the best.

My son has been in this school since Kindergarten. This is the most caring, loving and most dedicated teacher's you will EVER MEET. Between the administration, teacher's, parent involvement and the dedication of the student's in any school in our area. I have 3 kids at Walnut Hill and they absolutely love it. We even have teacher's that are dedicated enough with their student's that they even do extra activities during the summer with their student's. It is wonderful and you could not ask for better then what your child will receive through Walnut Hill.

The school is very clean and the staff is creative and inspiring. The principle shows great character and high family morals, which is the kind of role model I am proud that my kid is under.

Overall Walnut Hill is an excellent school! The teacher involvement is outstanding and this is the one reason why I moved my children from Turner to here for elementary school! The leadership from the prinicipal and the parent involvement is amazing and I would recommend this school to any parent who wants their child to have a chance at a great learning experience!

My daughter has been at the Hill for 6 years now and I must say that the education she has received so far has been excellent. Mr Hardison has always made sure that he and his teachers are involved in many programs. And parental support of the school is as good as any non-magnet school you could ever find. The Hill gets a A+ in my book!
